CHELSEA - ARSENAL, i commenti in vista del BIG-MATCH (5 ottobre 2014)

CHELSEA - ARSENAL
I COMMENTI

da SkySports:

"Chelsea and Arsenal enter round seven of the campaign as the two remaining unbeaten side, though, the Blues have claimed five victories in their opening six matches while Wenger’s side have been held to a draw on four occasions.
The Gunners have just one win in their last five and were held to a 1-1 stalemate by North London rivals Tottenham last weekend, while Chelsea’s most recent Premier League outing saw them cruise to a 3-0 win against Aston Villa.
Chelsea have scored seven more goals (19) than any other team in the Premier League this season and will expect to net against Arsenal, whose only clean sheet of the campaign came at an Aston Villa side heavily depleted by illness.
Meanwhile, 17 of the 41 goals the Gunners conceded in the Premier League last season came away to the teams that made up the eventual top three, and although they have improved, a lack of investment in central midfield could cost them."

"Arsenal need to change the way they play if they are to get anything out of this game and even after watching them beat Galatasaray 4-1 I don’t expect them to get anything from Stamford Bridge. They haven’t played well before that game and Galatasaray were very poor.
Arsenal are very good going forward, but they desperately need a central midfield player (why did they turn down Cesc Fabregas? He’s better than what they’ve got?) I think they’ll get picked off in this game and I don’t know how they can live with Diego Costa. Chelsea have too much power and will cause Arsenal big problems.
Prediction: 2-1"

da BettingExpert:

"This is the match of England Premier League, where I expect a lot of goals. Chelsea is currently first in the standings with 13 points (4-1-0), while Arsenal is currently fourth in the standings, and the team has 9 points (2-3-0).
Chelsea is this year, the biggest favorite for the title in the league, but this is the strongest league in the world so that they somewhere must to lose points. Maybe it will be just the match against Arsenal, although the hosts is a big favorite. Chelsea in March this year an amazing way was beat Arsenal and even scored six goals (6-0), so, at least three in this game and more than real, no doubt about that."

"Bookies are giving Arsenal way too much credit in this one I think. Jose Mourinho has an excellent record against Arsene Wenger and for me there is only one possible winner in this match.
Chelsea are in top form with power, pace and flair throughout the field. The only weaknesses from last season were at center forward and through defensive liability. Mourinho has taken care of both of these issues and I think his side will over-run Arsenal again as in the corresponding fixture last season.
Arsenal are playing well at the moment and had a good performance in the Champions League in midweek with Welbeck scoring a hat trick but there problem against a side like Chelsea is their midfield. With both Ramsey and Arteta out Arsenal will have to rely on Flamini who has looked very poor this season getting brushed off the ball very easily.
I don't think it will be quite as bad as the 6-0 from last season but I could certainly see Chelsea winning this 3-0."

"Run away leaders Chelsea host another london side Arsenal in a big game on Sunday. Both sides played in mid week with Chelsea winning in Portugal 1-0 while Arsenal made easy work of Galtasaray with a 4-1 win at the Emirates. Last season this match ended in a 6-0 victory for Chelsea , Wenger will not want a repeat of that and will set his team to play counter attacking football, I can see go to the Bridge and pick up something, they are a strong side and will fancy themselves against a very in form Chelsea in my opinion."

"This game is one i fear. Chelsea had a great start of the season and they are a very well balanced team. And i believe they will have the game of last season in their heads (6-0), which will give them confidence. Arsenal had a great game against Gala, but are having a lot of injuries (most notably Ramsey and Debuchy). I don't know if they can cope with the pressure and style of Chelsea. We all know Mourinho and his tactics. Arsenal is very weak on the counter. They are a great team to play attracting, attacking football, but when the opponents break away, they are doomed to fail. Chelsea is strong by getting the defense set up strongly (or parking the bus, if you want to call it that) and counter away when they have the chance. They have loads of quality up front to finish it (Hazard, Costa, Oscar), so they are good to go for it. My prediction would be 4-2 for Chelsea, although i hope Arsenal wins (I'm a Gooner). Hopefully Cesc doesn't have a good day."

papsy:
"Arsenal should not make a mistake and judge their likely performance vs Chelsea based on the Gala game. Gala are a weak team and drew their home game against a mediocre Anderlecht team. in fact they fell behind and had to equalize on the 90th min. Chelsea has a beast midfield and a tough defense with amazing forward. Wenger has to get his tactics right plus he has never won against Mourinho in any game. i predict a 3-1 for Chelsea."

Podol:
"Mourinho never loose against Wenger so a draw would be a fair result really. I'd go just for once Wenger could play defend - counter attack against this guy. the likes of Matic and Cesc will probably dominate Flamini most of the time. hate to say this, just defend well lad. COYG!"

may7even:
"As an arsenal fan, I'm not looking forward to this game at all. This would be a massacre, especially with our injury crisis. Like Chelsea needed more help. I swear, the FA should make Chelsea play with ten men to make the league fair for all. They are just incredibly good atm. They might even do the treble, if they can park the bus well against Barcelona. Predicting a Chelsea rout 4-0 Cecs MOTM. We all know it is coming, just preparing for it really."

SteveHyland:
"@may7even- They conceded against Burnley who have struggled to score, should've gone behind against Leicester (and would've if Nugent didn't bottle it), conceded 3 against Everton and should've gone well behind against Swansea who were by far the best team in the first half. Yeah Chelsea look good when teams miss blatant chances against them but that goes for most top teams. The fact is they can be scored against multiple times even at home. That hasn't been the case previously."
